Don Potter – a well-known name in the DR industry, long-time contributor to Response, past speaker at the Response Masters Series and Response Expo, former Response Editorial Advisory Board member, and author of “The 50+ Boomer: Your Key to 76 Million Consumers” – has started his own blog, specializing in information and thoughts on the pre-Boomer generation, born before the Baby Boomers and after the great stock market crash (1930-1945). Clash-Media, an online customer acquisition specialist, has secured an additional 1.3 million GBP investment from MMC Ventures. Clash-Media currently has offices in the UK, US, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and France, and this latest investment will help fund important European expansion into Spain and Italy.

Joe Caccamise is named senior media buyer of Media Stream Direct. Caccamise most recently worked as a senior media buyer for Express Media, buying both long- and short-form media, and also worked at Mercury Media and Williams Television Time.

Two of Discovery Networks’ top television shows in history will be available in syndication starting September 26: “American Chopper” and “Deadliest Catch.”
